Carpet for Mokena bedrooms and stairs
Bedrooms-plus-stairs is our most common carpet job in Mokena - warm underfoot on a cold Illinois morning, and forgiving for kids and pets alike. We carry plush, Berber, and patterned fibers to fit any budget.
Fibers that handle real family life
Solution-dyed nylon and triexta resist stains at the fiber level, not with a coating that wears off - a real difference in households with kids, pets, or both.
Padding is half the floor
A quality 8-pound pad makes carpet feel better underfoot, quiets upstairs bedrooms, and roughly doubles the life of the fiber above it. We quote pad and carpet together so there's no cheap-pad surprise hiding in a low bid.
What carpet costs in Mokena
Bedroom-plus-stairs packages are usually the best value per room in the house.
Our process, start to finish
We bring the sample rack to you, walk every room, and leave a firm written quote the same visit.
Install day: old carpet out, subfloor checked, pad set, every room power-stretched so it stays drum-tight, seams placed where traffic won't find them, furniture back in place - usually all in a single day.
Why Mokena homeowners choose Capital Flooring
As a young, family-run company based just up the road in Lockport, we don't cycle through subcontractors - our installers are employees who do this job every day.

Carpet questions in Mokena, IL
Absolutely - bedrooms-plus-closets is our most common Mokena job, often finished in a single morning.
A low-pile nylon or tight loop handles the friction stairs take better than a plush pile. We'll bring samples rated for exactly that.
About a day for most homes. We move the big furniture, and each room is only out of commission for a couple hours.
Always - old carpet, pad, and tack strip leave with us and are disposed of properly, included in the quote.
